North Brunswick Wreaths Across America chapter honors 100-year-old Army auxiliary member

Evelyn Yonka, a member of the Women’s Army Auxiliary Corp during World War II, celebrated her 100th birthday on May 31 in Shelby Township, Michigan. Pictured is Amie Rehil, co-chair of the Wreaths Across America chapter at Elmwood Cemetery in North Brunswick, displaying a birthday card and a thank you card for Yonka in front of the veterans monument in Veterans Park in North Brunswick after the Memorial Day ceremony on May 31. The honor was bestowed by Wreaths Across American and North Brunswick American Legion Post 459.
