Wilkes University, Wilkes-Barre, Pa., has awarded degrees to the following Howell residents: Nicholas Poyer received a Master of Business Administration in Business Administration; Michael Palladino received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management; and Nicolas Lorenzo received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.

Stephanie Moir of Howell has been named to the Spring 2021 president’s list at Mansfield University, Mansfield, Pa. To be named to the president’s list, a student must attend the university full-time and attain at least a 4.0 GPA for the semester. Stephanie is pursuing the Bachelor of Science in Education – Early Childhood and Elementary Education with Special Education second certification.

Delaney Lindquist of Howell is one of the 22 Cazenovia College, Cazenovia, N.Y., freshmen who are the newest inductees in the college’s chapter of Alpha Lamba Delta, the national honor society that recognizes high academic achievement in the first year of college studies. To be eligible for membership, students must earn a cumulative GPA of 3.50 in the first semester or in their first year as a full-time student.

Kutztown University, Kutztown, Pa., has named the following area residents to the Spring 2021 dean’s list: Erika N. Russell of Jackson, Nicolette B. Vallaster of Jackson and Julia Diane Wiemken of Howell.

Spencer W. Swain of Jackson, a senior majoring in engineering and management at Clarkson University, Potsdam, N.Y., was named a Presidential Scholar for the spring 2021 semester (minimum 3.80 GPA and at least 14 credit hours).

Tyler Harvey of Howell has earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Ministries and Biblical and Religious Studies from Grove City College, Grove City, Pa.
