Primary election results for South River

SOUTH RIVER–As ballots are being counted, Democrats David Pizzuto and Margaret Kenny received a total of 837 votes in the Primary Election on June 8.

The partial and unofficial results representing ballots received were processed as of 1:55 a.m. on June 9, according to the Middlesex County website.

Pizzuto won 410 votes and Kenny won 427 of the votes. There were no write-in votes.

Republican incumbent Peter Guindi won 328 votes and fellow Republican candidate Jason Oliveira won 316 votes.

There were two write-in votes on the Republican side.

The official results of the June 2021 Primary Election will be certified by the Middlesex County Board of Canvassers on or before June 22, according to the county website.

Election Day is Nov. 2.
