The results of the primary election in Old Bridge are as follows:

Ward 1: Democrat David Merwin, 365 votes, no write ins; Republican Kevin J. Garcia, 424 votes, three write ins.

Ward 2: Democrat Peter Shearer, 321 votes, four write ins; Republican Erik DePalma, 326 votes, no write ins.

Ward 3: Democrat Kiran Desai, 276 votes, no write ins; Republican Enid Crespo 183 votes, no write ins.

Ward 4: Democrat Jill DeCaro, 356 votes, no write ins; Republican Mark Rizzoli, 324 votes, two write ins.

Ward 5: Democrat Lance Hillman, 301 votes, three write ins; Republican Anthony Paskitti, 456 votes, one write in.

Ward 6: Democrat Nina Jochnowitz, 227 votes, one write in; Republican John E. Murphy III, 335 votes, two write ins.

The results of the primary election in Sayreville are as follows:

Borough Council, Democrats Damon Enriquez, 1,220 votes and Kevin Dalina, 1,247 votes. There were eight write-in votes.

Borough Council, Republicans Eunice K. Dwumfour, 880 votes and Joseph D. Sarpa, 952 votes. There were four write-in votes.

Vote tallies are current as of 2:30 p.m. June 10, based off the Primary Election on June 8.

Votes are not official until certified by the Middlesex County Board of Canvassers, which is expected around June 22.

The general election will be held on Nov. 2.
