Samantha Blitzer of Manalapan has graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural and Life Sciences Education at Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa.

Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, Bloomsburg, Pa., announced that the following area residents have been named to the dean’s list for Spring 2021: Brittany Fersht of Marlboro and Justin Obermeyer of Manalapan.

Dilin Mehaj of Morganville has been recognized for outstanding academic achievement by being named to the McDaniel College, Westminster, Md., Spring 2021 dean’s list with honors (minimum 3.5 GPA).

Mohammed Hassan of Morganville, majoring in electrical and computer engineering, has been inducted into the New York Institute of Technology, Old Westbury, N.Y., chapter of Phi Eta Sigma, the nation’s oldest and largest honor society for first-year college and university students.

The University of Wisconsin, Madison, Wisc., has named the following students to the dean’s list for the spring semester of the 2020-21 academic year: from Manalapan –  Samantha Perskin, College of Engineering; and from Morganville – Lyndsey Kiperman, College of Letters and Science; Max Kornhauser, College of Letters and Science; Rosie Marder, College of Letters and Science; Jacob Plotkin, School of Business; Alexa Rappaport, College of Letters and Science; Alexandra Seidler, College of Letters and Science; Brooke Silverstein, School of Education; Adam Wolf, College of Letters and Science; and Matthew Wolf, School of Business.

Ande Balla of Freehold has been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2021 semester at Lebanon Valley College, Annville, Pa., Ande, a graduate of Freehold Township High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in music education at The Valley.

Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Ga., presented degrees to approximately 4,400 undergraduate and graduate students during the institute’s 260th commencement exercises May 7-8, 2021, at Bobby Dodd Stadium. The following area residents earned degrees: Aditya Kumar of Manalapan, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with Highest Honors; Aditya Jituri of Morganville, Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering with Highest Honors; and Le Zhao of Morganville, Master of Science in Computer Science.

The College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, Va., has named the following area residents to the dean’s list for the spring 2021 semester: Mark Bravaco, Nicholas Kaufman and Lauren Tucker of Manalapan; and Marissa Ho of Morganville.

Mount Mary University, Milwaukee, Wisc., has awarded a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy Professional Development to Lori Grossi of Englishtown.

Jonathan DiBlasi of Morganville graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration during commencement ceremonies at the University of Vermont, Burlington, Vt., in May, 2021.

Tyler Ball of Manalapan graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa. Tyler was a student in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences whose program of study was Enterprise Leadership.

Curry College, Milton, Mass., announced that Clinton Wilson of Freehold has been named to the dean’s list for the Spring 2021 semester. Clinton is majoring in accounting.

Joshua Abary of Manalapan is one of 36 Lebanon Valley College, Annville, Pa., students recognized as a major award winner during the college’s 72nd annual All-Sports Awards in May. Joshua was a member of the men’s golf team and was named the squad’s Most Valuable Player. Joshua, who is a graduate of Calvary Christian School, is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in exercise science at The Valley.

The University of Vermont, Burlington, Vt., has named the following area residents to the dean’s list for Spring 2021: Danielle Berger of Marlboro, Stephanie Bronfman of Manalapan and Jonathan DiBlasi of Morganville.

Joseph Gervasio of Morganville has graduated with a Master of Business Administration (MBA – Operations and Supply Chain Management Concentration) from the College of Business at Ohio University, Athens, Ohio.

Allie Nicole Schwartz of Manalapan has graduated from Alvernia University, Reading, Pa., with a Master of Science in occupational therapy degree after completing all the requirements for graduation during the 2020-21 academic year.
