Danielle Gubitosa of Howell has been named to the president’s list (GPA of 3.90 and above) at James Madison University, Harrisonburg, Va., for the spring 2021 semester. Danielle is majoring in nursing.

Samara Rose Schechter of Howell has been named to the Husson University, Bangor, Maine, president’s list (GPA of 3.80 and above) for the Spring 2021 semester. During the spring semester, Samara was enrolled in Husson’s Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration and Public Health/Master of Science in Occupational Therapy program.

Alvernia University, Reading, Pa., has named the following area residents to the dean’s list for the spring 2021 semester: Ryan Boyle of Jackson studied criminal justice during the spring 2021 semester; and Alison Germadnig of Howell studied occupational therapy during the spring 2021 semester.

Karina O’Neill of Howell has graduated with a degree in sociology from James Madison University, Harrisonburg, Va.

James Madison University, Harrisonburg, Va., announced that the following area residents graduated with honors during the May 2021 commencement exercises: Brianna Salameh of Howell graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in intelligence analysis; and Callie Wixon of Howell graduated Cum Laude with a degree in political science.

James Madison University, Harrisonburg, Va., announced that the following students were named to the dean’s list for the Spring 2021 semester: Kasey Finnigan of Howell, Cory Friedman of Jackson, Skylar Espinos of Jackson, Jordan Horner of Howell and Gabriella Tormey of Howell.

St. Lawrence University, Canton, N.Y., has named Abigail Williams of Howell to the dean’s list for the Spring 2021 semester. Abigail is a member of the Class of 2023.

The State University of New York, Canton, N.Y., has named Angelina N. Lopiccolo of Jackson to the dean’s list following the Spring 2021 semester. Angelina is majoring in veterinary technology.

The University of Rhode Island, Kingston, R.I., has named the following area residents to the Spring 2021 dean’s list: Breanna Durkas of Jackson, Reiss Herbstman of Jackson, Dan McEvoy of Howell, Kyle McEvoy of Howell, Brianna Sanford of Jackson and Tyler Szajdecki of Howell.

Central Penn College, Summerdale, Pa., held its 139th commencement virtually on June 12, 2021, with more than 300 students graduating from the institution. Kristin Henderson of Jackson graduated with an Associate in Applied Science degree in occupational therapy assistant.

The University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, Ala., has named the following area residents to th dean’s list (GPA of 3.5 and above) and the president’s list (GPA of 4.0) for the Spring 2021 term: Giovanna Domenech of Howell, president’s list; Deanna McGee of Howell, dean’s list; Hanna Rosenmertz of Howell, president’s list; Adelaide Hood of Jackson, dean’s list; and Nikki Notarfrancesco of Jackson, dean’s list.

Lehigh University, Bethlehem, Pa., has named the following area residents to the dean’s list in Spring 2021: Emily Taylor of Jackson, Saber Hasani of Howell and Anna Francisco of Jackson.

Coastal Carolina University, Conway, S.C., has named the following area residents to the dean’s list for the Spring 2021 semester: Jessica Conolly of Jackson, Kasey Darrah of Howell, Ashley Santos of Jackson, Hailey Santos of Jackson, Shyanne Sheard of Jackson and Elisabeth Wood of Jackson.
