Two job fairs scheduled in Middlesex County

In June, young adults searching for part- or full-time work can get help from the Middlesex County Office of Career Opportunity’s ELITE Youth Program.

The ELITE Youth Program is teaming up with several key community partners to host two free, virtual “Get Hired” fairs this month.

Open to all New Jersey residents between the ages of 16 and 24, the events are designed to help job seekers navigate the job market as competitive, marketable candidates, while also connecting them with local organizations and employers.

On June 23 from 3:30 to 5 p.m., the “Get Hired Resource Fair” will provide guidance on resumé writing and interview techniques (including mock interviews) and will connect attendees with community resources.

Participating community partners include Bayside Family Success Center, Middlesex County Business Solutions Team, Mobile Family Success of Middlesex County, and NJ Youth Corps of Middlesex County.

The event will include partner-sponsored gift card raffles for attendees.
