Tina Androulakis, an assistant literacy specialist at Hillsborough Middle School, was named Hillsborough Middle School’s Governor’s Educator of the Year for 2021 because of her dedication and service to the Hillsborough School District.

Androulakis has been a member of the faculty since 2010. She assists literacy specialists in the seventh and eighth grade READ 180 programs, an intensive reading and writing intervention program designed to meet the needs of students whose reading achievement is below the proficient level.

Androulakis was also a volunteer member of Hillsborough Middle School’s AED response team for four years.

She is the St. Joe’s chairperson for the Interfaith Hospitality Network, which provides food and shelter for homeless individuals and families in Somerset County.
