On behalf of Center Players of Freehold, we would like to express a sincere “thank you” to Lake Topanemus Commission Chairman Roger Kane and the entire commission for their support and cooperation in our inaugural “Plays In the Park” production of “Prelude to a Kiss.”

While the performance in the park will not replace the experience of performing in our little playhouse at 35 South St., Freehold Borough, it gave our director, actors and stage crew a chance to do what they love while emerging from the pandemic.

Mr. Kane and the commissioners played an integral part in ensuring that the show would indeed go on, but in a unique setting, under the stars.

Our enthusiastic patrons – including a croaking bullfrog – were captivated and thrilled for the opportunity to enjoy the arts in a safe, beautiful environment.

Once again, our sincere thanks. We look forward to an ongoing partnering with the commission in the upcoming years.
