East Brunswick Cub Scouts show how ‘Diversity Rocks’

Cub Scouts from Pack 501 in East Brunswick painted rocks for the Diversity Rocks project of the East Brunswick Human Relations Council (EBHRC), and 1,818 remembrance stones for the Lost Souls Public Memorial Project.

During the event on Aug. 1, Jenna Leigh Lucy spoke about disabilities awareness.

EBHRC Chair Emeritus Elayne Risley spoke about the remembrance stones project, and reminded those in attendance of slavery that took place in the area in the 1800s.
