The University of Hartford, West Hartford, Conn., announced the names of students who have been named to the president’s honors list and/or the dean’s list for Spring 2021: Robert DelSordi of Freehold, dean’s list; Nicholas Toto of Freehold, dean’s list; Elana Bohm of Colts Neck, president’s honors list and dean’s list; Jordyn Ferraro of Manalapan, president’s honors list and dean’s list; and Dylan Manu of Morganville, president’s honors list and dean’s list.

Taylor Sandin of Freehold has been named to the spring 2021 trimester dean’s list at Palmer College of Chiropractic’s main campus in Davenport, Iowa.

Sanjay Gotur of Morganville has been named to the 2021 spring semester dean’s list at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minn. Sanjay is a senior in the College of Science and Engineering.

New York Institute of Technology, Old Westbury, N.Y., has named the following area residents to the Spring 2021 presidential honor list: Priscilla de Mesa of Marlboro, Mohammed Hassan of Morganville, Faiza Nasir of Freehold and Yash Trivedi of Manalapan. To qualify, a student must achieve a minimum semester GPA of 3.7 and complete at least 12 credit hours without any incomplete grades.

Rachael Karaczun, a Lasell University, Newton, Mass., student from Manalapan, presented at the university’s Spring Symposium research showcase, “The Invention of Now.” Rachel presented the latest issue of Tarnished, a student-run arts journal produced by members of the Graphic Design League at Lasell University. Rachel was one of the magazine’s editors. The Spring Connected Learning Symposium is one of two annual research symposia held at the university. Student presentations provide scholarly insights into a variety of industry topics and showcase practical skills and career competencies across those industries.

Karen Brzostowski of Freehold graduated from the University of Hartford, West Hartford, Conn., in May 2021.

Chloe Sherman of Morganville has been named to the dean’s list at Lehigh University, Bethlehem, Pa., for the Spring 2021 semester.

Amanda Chudkowski of Freehold has been named to the dean’s list for the 2021 spring semester at the University of New England, which has campuses in Biddeford and Portland, Maine, and in Tangier, Morocco.

Union College, Schenectady, N.Y., has announced the following 2021 dean’s list honorees: Anthony Buzzetta of Colts Neck, Christopher Galiano of Morganville, Alison Goldbetter of Marlboro and Alexandra Snyder of Marlboro. Students with at least a 3.50 GPA for the entire academic year were honored with the academic achievement.

The University of Rhode Island, Kingston, R.I., has awarded degrees to the following area residents: Matthew Francis Cecchini of Freehold, Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in German; Sam Christopher of Colts Neck, Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering; Amanda Rose Donnelly of Morganville, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Accounting, Cum Laude; Rachel Nicole Hroncic of Marlboro, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Marketing, Cum Laude; Cassidy Morgan Kalman of Marlboro, Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and Technology, Magna Cum Laude; Melissa R Kirschner of Marlboro, Bachelor of Science in Communicative Disorders, Cum Laude; Brianna Kostaris of Morganville, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, and Bachelor of Science in Textiles Fashion Merchandising and Design; Melissa A Menditto of Manalapan, Doctor of Pharmacy, Magna Cum Laude; and Gina Wagar of Colts Neck, Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology.

Meghan Royle of Colts Neck has earned a Master of Arts, Criminal Justice and Criminology, at Sam Houston State University, Huntsville, Texas. Meghan received her degree during the 2021 summer semester.
