Police officers and firefighters, Wawa officials and associates, customers and Wawa’s mascot Wally Goose will join in ceremonial ribbon cuttings at the Edison and North Brunswick locations.
The ceremony for the Edison location at 580 Route 1 will be held at 8:30 a.m. Doors open at 8 a.m.
The first 100 customers through the door will receive a limited edition Wawa Edison T-shirt.
There will be welcome remarks by Jason Read, director of Store Operations, and an introduction of the new store team by James Brown, area manager.
A charitable Hoagies for Heroes hoagie-building competition featuring the Edison Police Department, Edison Fire Department and USO will be accompanied by $1,000 donations given to each charity selected by the participants.
Afterward, a ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the North Brunswick location at 1910 Route 27.

A contribution to Franklin Food Bank of $1,000 will be presented to serve the food needs of the local community.
