The headlining Modifieds are set for two 30-lap main events with defending champ Andrew Krause of Holmdel, Jackson’s Steven Reed, Blake Barney and Kyle Scisco, Brick Township’s Dom Fattaruso and Eddie McCarthy and Derek Hopkinson of Toms River all expected to be among those to compete.

In addition to posted purse awards, supporters Chris and Heather Lane will present a $150 bonus to the Modified competitor with the best overall average finish.

The Sportsman Twin 25’s will see plenty of competition led by brothers Jarret DiGiantomasso and Carsten DiGiantomasso, both of Jackson, Jake Nelke of Manahawkin, Edison’s Neil Rutt III and Howell’s Kevin Davison.

Points leader and defending champion Elliot Wohl is expected to see action in a 25-lap Factory Stock main event.

Due to an ongoing racing tire supply shortage which is affecting speedways nationwide, the Johnny Gasko Memorial 94-lap race has been postponed on Aug. 21 and tentatively rescheduled for Sept. 11, according to the press release.

The Legend Cars and the open cockpit TQ Midgets will also compete in single 25-lap feature races, making for a seven feature race program. Fans are encouraged to grab their cowboy hats and boots for the Country Western BBQ themed event as the track will play country music classics and feature BBQ style food specials.

Wall Stadium is on Route 34 in Wall Township. For more information, visit wallspeedwayracing.com
