The band is coming to Allentown at the invitation of TAVI through its Allentown Arts program, a series of performances and exhibits throughout the year that are designed to highlight the artistry of Allentown and Upper Freehold Township in the historic setting of the village of Allentown, according to the press release.

Allentown Arts is made possible through the generosity of the community and a grant from Monmouth Arts, a partner of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, and the Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners, according to the press release.

Established in 1969, the 19-piece Jazz Ambassadors orchestra has performed in all 50 states and around the globe. The Jazz Ambassadors have brought America’s original art form – jazz – to audiences of all ages. Attendees are invited to bring a chair to the outdoor performance.

The Jazz Ambassadors’ visit to Allentown is a collaborative effort between TAVI and the Allentown United Methodist Church, the Allentown Business Community Association and Bruno’s One Sweet Ride, which hosted its “Artist on the Avenue” concerts throughout the summer, according to the press release.

The next Allentown Arts program is scheduled for Nov. 14 at 3 p.m. in the sanctuary of the Allentown United Methodist Church featuring the talented faculty and students of Allentown’s Mill Pond Music Academy.
