Margaret Figliolino, a sophomore political science major from Freehold, has been named to the Le Moyne College, Syracuse, N.Y., Spring 2021 dean’s list.
Olivia Tu of Freehold graduated from Hofstra University, Hempstead, N.Y., in May 2021, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies and Geography.
The winners of the Edwin A. Miller Writing Awards and the Muhlenberg Weekly Journalism Awards at Muhlenberg College, Allentown, Pa.,m including Joshua Cooperman of Marlboro, were honored at a virtual presentation on June 24, 2021. The Edwin A. Miller Awards, named after the late founder of the POB Publishing Company, allow students to submit work in multiple categories. The inaugural Muhlenberg Weekly Journalism Awards highlight the work of the college’s student journalists. All winners received monetary prizes and were given feedback from professional writers.
Paige Preston of Freehold has received a Bachelor of Science degree in human environmental sciences from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, Ala. The university awarded more than 1,400 degrees during its summer commencement ceremonies on July 31, 2021.
