Thousands attend Rise Latino Festival

The 8th Annual Latino Festival held by Rise drew a crowd of more than 3,000 people on Aug. 21, a record number of attendees visiting Rocky Point Park in Hightstown for the event.

Festivalgoers enjoyed food provided by local vendors, live music, performances by local artists, and works of art that celebrated the culture and traditions of Latin America and the Caribbean.

Gov. Phil Murphy visited to celebrate award-winning Rise Heroes that went above and beyond to help support their community during the last 18 months.

Sponsors included Waze, Modway, M&T Bank, St. Anthony’s, Black Cab, Konecta, Little Key Roasters, TGI Fridays, Dairy Queen and the Watershed Institute.
