The East Brunswick Arts Coalition (EBAC) will launch its outdoor exhibit entitled Spread Your Wings! from 1-4 p.m. Sept. 18 featuring 15 fiberglass butterflies painted by East Brunswick residents permanently set on pedestals or affixed to trees throughout the town for residents and visitors to enjoy.

EBAC will kick off the exhibit in Butterfly Park at Great Oak Park on Rues Lane with a free event featuring live music and family-friendly activities including arts and crafts, face painting and a scavenger hunt.

The butterfly statues and event are fundraising efforts for EBAC to raise funds and continue to support local events, classes, workshops and other activities in the visual, performing and media arts provided by the East Brunswick Arts Commission, East Brunswick Human Relations Council, East Brunswick Museum Corporation, East Brunswick Historical Society, and Playhouse 22.
