Brandywine Living at Princeton celebrated National Assisted Living Week Sept. 12-18.

The community kicked off the week on Grandparents Day, Sept. 12, with a Wild West meets Country Party. There was a country band, shooting gallery, petting zoo, pony rides, BBQ ribs and chicken, and a cameo visit by John Wayne.
The community hosted a Hawaiian-style fundraiser for Caring Connections on Sept. 14. The luau featured Hawaiian dancers, Hawaiian food, a tiki bar and handmade leis.
A group of Brandywine residents performed an exercise technique with exercise bands choreographed to music in the heart of Princeton Palmer Square in Tiger Park on Sept. 15.
Throughout the week, the community, located on the Princeton/South Brunswick border, hosted a residents’ award ceremony gala, a Welcome to the Jungle Day, a Rat Pack Day and Staff Appreciation Day.
