A 42-year-old Lambertville man was charged with possession of fraudulent government documents after police determined that the temporary license plate and vehicle registration were fraudulent, following a motor vehicle stop outside of Hopewell Borough Sept. 9.
A 20-year-old Pennington man was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Bucks County, Pennsylvania, after his car was stopped by police on West Broad Street for a motor vehicle violation Sept. 14. He was taken to the Mercer County Corrections Center.
More than $2,000 was drained from a victim’s bank account after the victim gave remote access to their computer. The victim was contacted by an unknown person who said there was a problem with security on the victim’s computer. The incident was reported Sept. 3.
A Welwyn Court resident reported on Sept. 4 that someone had used their personal information to file for unemployment benefits, according to police reports.
A 35-year-old Hamilton Township man was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (suspected heroin), possession of drug paraphernalia and contempt after police were called to investigate a suspicious vehicle that was stopped in the road in the area of Harbourton-Rocktown Road and Rock Road on Sept. 4. He was turned over to the Hamilton Township Police Department on the outstanding warrant from the Hamilton Township Municipal Court.
A 27-year-old Trenton man was charged with possession of fraudulent government documents – a temporary license plate and vehicle registration card – after he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Route 31 north on Sept. 5. A 27-year-old passenger in his car was charged with obstruction of justice and hindering after she got out of the car while he was talking to a police officer, grabbed a piece of evidence that had been placed on the trunk of the car, and got back into the car. She allegedly tried to hide it.
A 24-year-old Pennington man was charged with criminal mischief for throwing paint on the ShopRite storefront on Pennington Road and the surrounding areas overnight between Sept. 10 and 11. Damage was estimated at more than $2,000.
