This year, owners Rich and Debbie Norz are dedicating the maze’s design to Hillsborough’s 250th anniversary by featuring the words “Hillsborough 1771” in the corn field. The maze includes two miles of paths spreading over five acres of the farm.

The grand opening is planned for noon on Oct. 3 at the farm, located at 120 S. Branch Road in Hillsborough.

“We are looking forward to officially opening the corn maze with the Norz family as well as my Mayor for the Day, Adeline Eick. Please come out and support the Norz family and their amazing fall festival,” Mayor Shawn Lipani said in a prepared statement.

Also featured during the fall festival will be farm animals, farm tours, hayrides, pumpkin picking and the farm market.

On Sept. 24, Norz Hill Farm’s Scare Farm opened with three spooky attractions: Creepy Hollow, Paranoia Walking Trails and The Slayride-Hayride.

The Norz Hill Farm Fall Harvest Days run through Oct. 31. Fall hours are noon to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
