On Oct. 2, Main Street in Matawan was filled with residents and visitors who came to the borough to celebrate the 2021 Matawan Day Street Festival.
People and pets were on hand to enjoy the festivities, which featured many attractions, vendors and food trucks.
From a Michael Jackson impersonator to food eating contests, visitors of all ages enjoyed themselves on a sunny fall afternoon. In addition to conversation and laughter, the lively atmosphere was bolstered by live entertainment from musicians and street performers.
The Matawan Day Street Festival was sponsored by Gotham Trinity Productions and other area businesses and brought to the public by the Matawan-Aberdeen Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the Matawan Economic Development Commission.
