There were elections for three, three year seats available on the Monroe Board of Education on Nov. 2.
The race is contested.
The seven candidates are all newcomers: Sarah Aziz, Gazala Bohra, Linda M. Bozowski, Neha Desai, Katie Fabiano, Kate Rattner and Sean E. Regan.
As of press time on Nov. 4, Fabiano, with 7,638 votes, Bohra, with 5,787 votes, and Rattner, with 5,753 votes, are in the lead.
Regan follows with 5,067 votes, Bozowski is next with 4,622 votes, Aziz received 3,719 votes, and Desai received 2,838 votes.
There were 84 write-in votes.
The results reflect what has been posted online by the Middlesex County Clerk’s Office at this time.
The results of the election will remain unofficial until they are certified.
