National Guard rescues man stranded in floodwaters

Members of the National Guard came to rescue a man who was clinging to the roof of his nearly submerged car on a flooded road in Hopewell during Tropical Storm Ida on Sept. 1. They were taken from in front of a home on Pennington-Rocky Hill Road in Hopewell Township just before it crosses Stony Brook.
