The annual Hopewell Valley Veterans Day ceremony took place on the grounds of Woolsey Park as residents honored military veterans and remembers those lost in 2021.

The ceremony organized by the Hopewell Valley Veterans Association was held in Hopewell Township on Nov. 6. The ceremony remembered Navy Capt. Shelley Pennington and the 13 service members who were killed in the terrorist attack at the Kabul airport in Afghanistan as evacuations were being executed this summer.
