MONROE – The Monroe Township Chorus will perform in person once again on Nov. 21.
After a year-and-a-half hiatus due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, the performance will be dedicated to all first responders and all those who reached out to others in need during the pandemic.
Conductor Sheila Werfel and Musical Director David Schlossberg will lead the chorus in song once again at the Richard P. Marasco Performing Arts Center located in the Monroe Township Middle School, 1629 Perrineville Road.
Werfel formed The Monroe Township Chorus in September 2013 and over the years the group rose from 18 singers to a membership of 72 at one point.
Micki Meyers said they are a smaller group now, but have gained 10 new members for the upcoming performance.
The concert is free and all are welcome.
Masks are required.
Doors will open at 1:30 p.m. and the performance will begin at 2 p.m. on Nov. 21.
