Volunteers glean apples at Lee Turkey Farm for distribution in Thanksgiving baskets

Volunteers gleaned 8,000 pounds of apples at Lee Turkey Farm in East Windsor on Nov. 9. Farmers Against Hunger will pack apples, along with other produce, in Thanksgiving bags for delivery to hunger relief agencies, food pantries and soup kitchens next week. Items will be delivered to Rise in Hightstown and other organizations in Cranbury, Trenton and throughout the state.
