Ocean County Library to Present Elvistory: Christmas with ‘The King’

The Ocean County Library will present Elvistory: Christmas with “The King,” on Dec. 2 at the Jackson Branch and Dec. 6 at the Toms River Branch. Both presentations will begin at 7 p.m.

Award-winning Elvis Presley tribute artist and “Elvis-torian” Ruben Castillo will step into character for the live musical Yuletide journey.

Audience members will learn about Elvis’s love of the holidays and traditions and toys during his career, and will be invited to join in holiday songs recorded by “The King,” according to a press release.

Castillo has more than 30 years of experience as a musical theater actor in community and regional productions. His voice-over talents include video game characters, celebrity impersonations and children’s interactive storybooks.

Additionally, he emcees and produces many Elvis contests and productions, according to the press release.

Since June 2018, fans of Boogie Nights in Atlantic City’s Tropicana Hotel know him as emcee “Elvis Estrada.”
