Therapeutic laughter yoga program being offered in Hopewell

With so many people in the community hurting physically, mentally and spiritually these days, and especially during the holiday season, SandyK & Partners and Hopewell United Methodist Church have partnered to put the ha! back into the holiday season by hosting “Sandy K’s Ha-Ha-Holidays” therapeutic laughter yoga program offering community wellness in the church’s lower dining hall at 20 Blackwell Ave., Hopewell.

The program is being held on four consecutive Saturdays: Dec. 11, 18 and 25, and Jan. 1 for two sessions each day from 10-11:15 a.m. and from noon to 1:15 p.m., according to a press release.

A $20 donation is requested, which helps provide free session scholarships to those in need, according to the press release.

Conducted by certified and national award-winning instructor Sandy Kimbrough, participants are asked to wear comfortable clothes and be ready to laugh their pants off.

Chairs, prizes and refreshments provided. Social distancing observed, with masks optional. Individuals should check with their healthcare provider before participating. For information and to pre-register (required), call 609-516-0215.
