West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South graffiti deemed non-credible threat

The West Windsor Police Department and West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional School District officials are investigating a graffiti message that was found on a bathroom stall at West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South Dec. 10, according to the West Windsor Police Department.

The graffiti message on a stall in the women’s bathroom was investigated and determined to be a non-credible threat, police said.

The West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South administration and police will continue to monitor and investigate the incident. The high school remained on a normal day, school district officials and police said.

The graffiti message follows on the heels of an incident at Lawrence High School earlier in the week, when a 15-year-old student brought a loaded handgun into the school. School administrators were tipped off, and the boy was apprehended by administrators and the school resource officer.

The West Windsor Police Department has a daily presence on school grounds, along with the Class III special police officers, school district officials said. The officers will be in and around the area for an additional presence.

School district officials and police reminded all students that if they see something or hear something of concern, it should be reported immediately to building administrators, school counselors or a staff member.
