Princeton police blotter

Vandals damaged the baseball dugouts, snack stand and shed at Grover Park. The incident of criminal mischief was reported to Princeton police on Dec. 8.

Various forms of graffiti were discovered on the roof of a building at 134-136 Nassau St. by the building’s property manager on Dec. 8, according to police.

A burglar broke into a Rodney Court home on Dec. 6, but nothing was reported missing. A resident told police he left the house and that when he returned he discovered the front door was open. There were obvious signs of forced entry and extensive damage to the door, according to police.

Two Mercer Street residents reported that someone fraudulently withdrew $5,000 from their joint banking account and then used their debit card to buy several other items for a combined loss of $11,320. The incident of theft, identity theft and forgery was reported on Dec. 3.

A Great Road resident told police someone used their name to open a PNC Bank rotating credit account. There was no monetary loss because the account was canceled before it could be used. The incident of identity theft was reported on Dec. 2.

A Nassau Street resident reported that someone stole a package from the vestibule of his apartment building on Dec. 2.
