Scout from East Windsor troop builds shed at Bordentown environmental center

Hugh Keenan, a member of Boy Scout Troop 6284 in East Windsor, worked for two years planning, organizing, fundraising and leading the build of his Eagle Project, a shed for the children’s garden at Fernbrook Farms Environmental Education Center in Bordentown.

Robbinsville resident Hugh Keenan is a member of Boy Scout Troop 6284 in East Windsor.

He worked for two years planning, organizing, fundraising and leading the build of his Eagle Project, a shed for the children’s garden at Fernbrook Farms Environmental Education Center in Bordentown. He attained the rank of Eagle in October.

On most weekends, Hugh is involved with the Boy Scouts of America. He is a member of Venture Crew 3030, Doylestown and Order of the Arrow, Sanhican Chapter, Ajapeu Lodge II. He has been on staff at Ockanikon Scout Reservation and for National Youth Leadership Training. 

He is moving into the role of assistant scout master for his troop.
