A 38-year-old Hamilton Township man was charged with possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose following a road rage incident on Paul Robeson Place Dec. 29. The victim told police that the man displayed what she thought was a gun. The investigation revealed that it was a stun gun, which he was not legally allowed to possess, according to police.
Someone stole a baby Jesus figurine from a Nativity scene on the front lawn of a Hamilton Avenue residence. The theft of the figure, which was valued at $600, was reported Dec. 27.

A 41-year-old Princeton man was arrested on an outstanding “no bail” warrant issued by Princeton after police responded to a welfare check on an intoxicated man on Hulfish Street Jan. 9. He was arrested on the outstanding warrant and taken to the Mercer County Correction Center.
A Cradle Rock Road resident reported Jan. 7 that someone had used his personal information to open a credit card through U.S. Bank. No monetary loss had been incurred at the time of the report.
An activated burglar alarm led police to an Oakridge Court residence Jan. 13, where they discovered that a door to the house had been shattered in an attempt to gain entry into the house. Police checked the interior of the house, and it appeared that the burglar did not gain entry.
A Parkside Drive resident told police that someone had used her husband’s personal information and filed a fraudulent claim for unemployment benefits. The identity theft incident was reported Jan. 14.
A 39-year-old Trenton man was arrested on an outstanding warrant for $525 from Woodbury City when police investigated an idling vehicle on Palmer Square West Jan. 15. The man was arrested and taken to the Princeton Police Department headquarters, where he posted full cash bail and was released.
Someone fraudulently opened a T.D. Bank checking account using a Newlin Road resident’s personal information. The incident of identity theft was reported Jan. 16.
