A 27-year-old East Windsor woman was charged with two counts of shoplifting for taking merchandise valued at $166.33 from Staples and items valued at $10.99 from the 7-Eleven store Feb. 18. During the investigation, she was also found to have an outstanding warrant. She was taken to the Mercer County Correction Center, pending court action.

A 38-year-old Bloomfield man who was driving a vehicle with a trailer and whose taillights reportedly were not on was charged with theft and maintenance of lamps following a motor vehicle stop on One Mile Road at 11:30 p.m. Feb. 18. An investigation revealed that the trailer had been reported stolen. He was arrested and released, pending court action.

A 47-year-old East Windsor man was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, careless driving and failure to maintain lane after his car was observed weaving on N. Main Street at 1:55 a.m. Feb. 20. He allegedly showed signs of impairment and was arrested after failing field sobriety tests. He was released, pending court action.

A 32-year-old East Windsor man was charged with shoplifting for allegedly taking merchandise valued at $144 from the ShopRite grocery store on Route 130 Feb. 22. He left the store before police arrived, but was later found at his home. He was arrested and released, pending court action.

A 32-year-old Beverly man was charged with shoplifting after he allegedly took merchandise worth $569 from the ShopRite grocery store on Route 130 on Feb. 22. Police conducted a motor vehicle stop after the man left the store without paying for the items. He was arrested and released, pending court action.
