Bloomsburg University, Bloomsburg, Pa., held its Fall 2021 commencement ceremonies on Dec. 10-11, 2021. Annika Trolle of Allentown graduated with a degree in Social Work.
Ethan Geddis of Cream Ridge has been named to the Fall 2021 dean’s list at Loyola University Maryland, Baltimore, Md. Ethan is a member of the class of 2025.
Bailey McLaughlin of Allentown was among the 50 University of Scranton, Pa., students who participated in four domestic service trips, organized by the Center for Service and Social Justice, during spring break 2022. The students helped with disaster relief efforts, refugee assistance and with tutoring and mentoring children. They worked with persons with disabilities and former gang members and helped out at soup kitchens and food pantries. Bailey, who is a graduate student at Scranton, volunteered with Electric City Experience in the Scranton region. The students volunteered at Neighbor Works, St. Francis Soup Kitchen, Nativity Miguel School, St. Joseph’s Center and other local projects.
