East Windsor police blotter

A 21-year-old Millstone man was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, careless driving and driving with a suspended registration after police responded to a call about a car that was speeding on Westfield Avenue with its airbags deployed April 19. A police officer found the car on the side of the road. The driver showed signs of impairment and was arrested after failing field sobriety tests. He was released, pending court action.

A 22-year-old East Windsor man was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving and careless driving after his car left the road and struck a road sign on Madison Drive April 24. He showed signs of impairment and was arrested after failing field sobriety tests. He was released, pending court action.

A 31-year-old Trenton man was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, careless driving and having unclear license plates after he was stopped by police on Route 130 near Town Center Road April 23. His car did not have a rear license plate. During the investigation, he showed signs of impairment and was arrested after failing field sobriety tests. He was released, pending court action.

A 26-year-old Hamilton Township man was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, careless driving, failure to yield and failure to maintain lane April 24 on Route 130 near Hickory Corner Road after he failed to yield to traffic as he entered the road from private property. He showed signs of impairment and was arrested after failing field sobriety tests. He was released, pending court action.

A 46-year-old Plainsboro Township man was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, careless driving, failure to maintain lane and obstructing traffic after a police officer noticed his car was weaving April 19. During the investigation, he showed signs of impairment and was arrested after failing field sobriety tests. He was released, pending court action.
