Driver loses control of vehicle, strikes building

A 59-year-old Plainsboro Township man whose car struck an apartment building in the Wynbrook West apartment complex faces multiple charges, including driving under the influence, according to the East Windsor Township Police Department.

The driver lost control of his vehicle while traveling west on Dutch Neck Road in the May 4 crash. The vehicle went over a curb and grass area, and struck the building, police said.

No one was injured.

The driver allegedly showed signs of impairment and was arrested after failing field sobriety tests. He was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, careless driving, failure to maintain lane, driving while his license was suspended, being an unlicensed driver and refusal to submit to a breath test.

He was released, pending court action.
