East Windsor police blotter

A 36-year-old East Windsor Township was charged with lewdness, criminal sexual contact and harassment after police were called to investigate a suspicious man May 7. The investigation revealed that he allegedly inappropriately touched a TJMaxx employee and also exposed himself to a Target employee. Police found the man walking nearby and arrested him, according to reports. He was taken to the Mercer County Correction Center.

A 26-year-old East Windsor man was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, careless driving, driving while his license was suspended and being an unlicensed driver May 5 after police were sent to investigate an erratic driver whose car struck a curb on Lake Drive. Police located the car in the Shell gas station parking lot and met with the driver inside the store, according to reports. He allegedly showed signs of impairment and was charged after failing field sobriety tests. He was released, pending court action.

A 22-year-old East Windsor man was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, careless driving, obstructing traffic and improper emerging from private property following a two-car crash on Dorchester Drive May 8. He failed to yield to traffic on Dorchester Drive while leaving the Chestnut Willow apartment complex, and struck another vehicle. There were no injuries. He was arrested after failing field sobriety tests. He was released, pending court action.
