Princeton Battlefield Society is inviting people to attend the organization’s 2022 Day of Remembrance ceremony that will honor fallen soldiers from all of America’s wars.

The Day of Remembrance ceremony will occur at 1 p.m. May 28 at Princeton Battlefield State Park at 500 Mercer St. in Princeton.

This event takes place during Memorial Day Weekend. Visitors will be offered the chance to pin their own yellow ribbons to a memorial wreath, according to a press release. They can then join the 2nd PA Regiment and historical interpreters in a brief memorial service and the singing of “Amazing Grace.”

Hear the story of the battle that was fought and walk the hallowed grounds where George Washington’s army walked, and where some of the fallen soldiers of the Battle of Princeton still lie.
