Wilkes University, Wilkes-Barre, Pa., has awarded degrees to the following area residents: Sally Prewitt of Morganville received a Bachelor of Arts in criminology; and John Pezzolanti of Manalapan received a Bachelor of Science in engineering management.

Pennsylvania College of Technology, Williamsport, Pa., a special mission affiliate of Penn State University, has named the following area residents to the 2022 Spring dean’s list: Khalil Z. Clax of Freehold and Ethan T. Martin of Freehold.

Kayleigh Mulroy of Manalapan has been named to the University of Mississippi, Oxford, Miss., Spring 2022 dean’s honor roll. Kayleigh is majoring in law studies.

Misericordia University, Dallas, Pa., administrators announced that Erika DeSantis of Freehold has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology. Commencement ceremonies were held on May 14. In addition to earning a degree, Erika was named to the dean’s list for the Spring 2022 semester.

Hannah Lin of Manalapan has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology/health from Grove City College, Grove City, Pa. Hannah was named to the dean’s list with high distinction (GPA of 3.85 to 4.0) for the Spring 2022 semester. Hannah is the daughter of the Rev. Ben and Lisa Lin.

Alexa Scranton of Freehold, a 2021 graduate majoring in music production and entrepreneurship at York College, York, Pa., received the WVYC Award during the annual Student Recognition Ceremony.

Teresa Marsh of Morganville engaged in one of two collaborative service learning courses at Alvernia University, Reading, Pa., that won first place in the Gift of Life donor program’s 2022 Students Save Lives College Challenge. Students in Dr. Jodi Radosh’s public speaking and event planning service learning courses overcame 18 other participating colleges by encouraging more than 400 people to register to become organ, tissue or cornea donors, resulting in the first place prize of $1,000.

New York Institute of Technology, Old Westbury, N.Y., presented student leadership and service awards to students who demonstrated leadership, served the university and enhanced fellow students’ experience during the 2021-22 academic year. Yash Trivedi of Manalapan, majoring in biology, received the Graduating Senior Award – Alice Burke Memorial Award.

The following students have been named to the dean’s list for the Spring 2022 semester at the University of Vermont, Burlington, Vt. – Madison Bellows of Freehold; Danielle Berger of Marlboro; and Kevin Columbo of Manalapan.

The University of Scranton, Pa., has awarded degrees to the following local students: Victoria S. Caruso of Freehold earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology; Kevin M. Clancy of Manalapan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology; Alexandra Colecchia of Freehold earned a Bachelor of Science degree in early and primary teacher education; and Mark Tuccillo of Manalapan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting.

The University of Scranton, Pa., has awarded master’s and doctoral degrees to the following area residents: Amy Krok of Freehold earned a Master of Health Administration in health administration; Matthew J. Doherty of Marlboro earned a Master of Business Administration in international business and operations management; Raegen Dunn of Freehold earned a Master of Business Administration in operations management; and Matthew D. Sayuk of Freehold earned a Master of Business Administration in operations management.

Jolie Rosenthal of Manalapan has graduated Magna Cum Laude (GPA of 3.65 to 3.84) from the University of New Hampshire, Durham, N.H. Jolie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in occupational therapy.

Rachel Lang of Morganville graduated with a Master in Physician Assistant Science from Saint Francis University, Loretto, Pa., during the May 7-8, 2022 commencement exercises.
