ANN MARIE (neé REAGAN) HEYM

MILLTOWN, ANN MARIE (neé REAGAN) HEYM, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at RWJ Barnabas in New Brunswick. She was 79.

Ann was born on the 4th of July in New London, Connecticut. She was a dance teacher, telephone operator, and worked for The Day newspaper until she married her husband of 50 years, the late Captain Richard J. Heym. They were stationed across the U.S. during his time in the Coast Guard, including Portland, ME, Groton, CT, Governors Island, NY, Monterey, CA, Falls Church, VA, Cape Code, MA, and New Orleans, LA. They settled in Milltown, NJ in 1996. Ann was a deeply devoted communicant of St. Bartholomew Roman

Catholic Church, East Brunswick. She was a member of the Alter Rosary Society, Columbiettes, USCG Officers Wives Club, Red Hat Society and the Milltown Senior Center. Ann spent countless hours volunteering for various organizations throughout her life. Ann enjoyed the beach and gardening but, most of all, spending time with her beloved family.

She is reunited with her parents, William P. & Blanche (neé Paquette) Reagan; her son, Reagan John; and her brothers, Robert and Kevin Reagan.

Surviving are her two sons, Richard J., and Robert W., both of Milltown; her two daughters, Heather Szeles and husband, Stephen, of Hightstown; and Christine Lopez, and husband, Sergio, of Edison; her five grandchildren, Sergio III, Alexandra, Amanda, Elizabeth, and Amy; her brother, William Reagan, of New London CT; her sister, Kathleen Lovetere and husband, Michael, of Niantic CT; and her sister- in-law, Margaret Reagan, also of Niantic, CT.
