The investigation – based on physical characteristics and clothing description – had revealed the suspect was allegedly wearing the same clothing worn (during the burglaries and thefts that occurred in Metuchen) in a recent arrest in Woodbridge, police said.

The Edison man is already facing multiple counts of burglary and theft after his initial arrest in Metuchen on Apri 5. He had been processed and released on a summons complaint at the time.

The Metuchen Police Department said they “would like to thank all the residents of Metuchen who provided security/surveillance footage” that was provided during the investigation.
