Milltown Fourth of July festivities all set to kick off 6 a.m. July 4

MILLTOWN – The Milltown Fourth of July Committee is gearing up for its grand Fourth of July festivities.

Event times on July 4 include:

6 a.m. — Fishing Derby (by Rescue Squad).
7:30am — Fun Run (by Bradford Park).
8 a.m. — 5K Run (by Bradford Park).
10 a.m. — Parade kick off. Grand Marshall is longtime “semi-retired” teacher Kathy Magnuson. The parade begins at Van Liew Avenue and continues down Main Street to East Lincoln to JFK Boulevard and concludes at Violet Terrace.
12:30 p.m. — Duck Race at Main Street Bridge.
5 p.m. – Pizza Eating Contest hosted by Maria’s Pizza & Subs. Patriotic House Contest voting starts
5:30 p.m. – Mr. Ray near the big stage.
7 p.m. — Opening ceremonies and START
BUTTON Winners announced.
7:15 p.m. – Music by the GROOVE LINE
8:30 p.m. – Patriotic House Contest, 50/50 Raffle drawing and winners announced
9:30 p.m.— Lighting up the sky with firework celebration
