The location was formerly known as Divine Word Missionaries.

Bordentown City Police Department will remain at 324 Farnsworth Ave. for any and all police related business for the foreseeable future while construction work is completed on their new facilities, according to Mayor Jennifer Sciortino.

In partnership with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection’s Green Acres Program and the Delaware and Raritan Greenway Land Trust, the Bordentown City Commissioners entered into a sales agreement with Divine Word Missionaries in 2020.

The city acquired the 5.44 acres of the property and has been repurposing the property into the new City Hall.
