The Old Bridge Education Association represents more than 1,000 educators who work in our public schools. Many of our members also call Old Bridge home and are parents to students in the district.
The Association has become increasingly concerned about the politicization of the Board of
Education (BOE). For the first time, the Old Bridge Education Association (OBEA) has endorsed three candidates in November’s (BOE) election.
In a crowded field of 12, three candidates stood out to the Association based on their experience, prospective, and ideas. The three candidates who have earned the endorsement of the OBEA are:
Jennifer D’Antuono (No. 2) – Parent Teacher Association (PTA) president at Memorial Elementary School and a business owner.
Marjorie Jodrey (No. 3) – A recently retired educator who worked as a paraprofessional, teacher, and ABA (applied behavioral analyst) specialist.
Lance Hilfman (No. 5) – A middle school teacher and husband of a retired Old Bridge teacher.
All three of our endorsed candidates have a deep understanding of the issues facing our district and a vision for the future.
In addition to our endorsed candidates, we did provide each candidate in November’s election with a survey to share. Those surveys can be found on theobea.org
