In two separate incidents on Sept. 2 and Sept. 4, police charged two Philadelphia men – ages 41 and 43 – with possession of a fraudulent government document for driving a car with a fictitious temporary registration following motor vehicle stops on Route 579. The men were processed and released.

A River Road resident reported a theft of a bicycle that was on their property on Aug. 31. The bike is valued at $115.

A 17-year-old boy was charged with disorderly conduct and criminal mischief after police responded to a Jamieson Drive home for a noise complaint Aug. 29. The boy confronted police officers who were investigating the incident. He allegedly became belligerent and ran from the scene, kicking a patrol car that cause minor damage, police said.

An Avalon Road resident reported that fraudulent transactions were discovered on their credit cards. The victim canceled the transactions prior to final approval and with no financial loss. The incident was reported Aug. 28.

A man entered the ShopRite grocery store on Pennington Road, selected some items and allegedly left without paying for them Aug. 27. The items were valued at less than $400.

Assorted construction tools and equipment, worth a combined $1,650, were reported stolen from a construction trailer at a Stony Brook Road home between Aug. 26-27.

Someone allegedly stole a kitchen appliance, valued at less than $15,000, from a Bear Tavern Road home Aug. 25.

A 25-year-old woman was charged with criminal mischief for allegedly throwing rocks at cars traveling on Route 29 on Aug. 24. A victim told police that a woman allegedly threw a rock at their car, causing minor damage. Police were able to locate the woman at the scene and apprehended her. She was processed and released.

A Hopewell Borough resident was the victim of a scam when they transferred money from their bank account for a security deposit on an apartment that was advertised online. The victim later learned that it was a fraudulent listing. The incident was reported Aug. 23.

A man allegedly shoplifted about $300 worth of groceries from the Stop ‘n Shop grocery store on Denow Road Aug. 18. The man entered the store, selected some items and left without paying for them.
