Princeton police blotter

A Wiggins Street resident reported that someone allegedly stole three packages from her front porch and fled in a light-colored vehicle Sept. 5. The theft was captured on the victim’s Ring doorbell camera.

A business check that was mailed from a United States Postal Service mailbox was reported stolen and the amount of the check was altered to $2,500. The check was cashed. The incident was reported Sept. 1.

A 43-year-old Princeton man was charged with shoplifting for allegedly attempting to leave a store on North Harrison Street without paying for a bag of items Aug. 31. He was processed and taken to the Mercer County Correction Center.

Someone allegedly rummaged through a vehicle that was parked in a parking garage on Henry Avenue, but nothing was reported missing. The incident was reported Aug.31.

A man entered a retail store on North Harrison Street on several occasions, each time allegedly concealing bottles of liquor and leaving the store without paying for them. The incident was reported Aug. 30.

A woman reported that someone allegedly stole her Apple iPhone that she had left on a picnic table on Witherspoon Street Aug. 30.

A woman reported that someone allegedly used her debit card – which she had in her possession – to fraudulently withdraw $503 from an ATM on Nassau Street Aug.  22.
