East Windsor police blotter

A 43-year-old East Windsor Township man was charged with shoplifting, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia on Sept. 12. He allegedly left the Home Depot store on Route 33 without paying for assorted merchandise valued at a combined $2,899.49. He was also found to allegedly have drugs and paraphernalia in his possession. He was processed and released.

Two East Windsor Township men, ages 22 and 24, were charged with shoplifting on Sept. 10. They allegedly walked out of the ShopRite grocery store on Route 130 without paying for $284.10 worth of merchandise. They were processed and released.

A 32-year-old East Windsor Township man was charged with shoplifting on Sept. 4. He allegedly left the ShopRite grocery store on Route 130 without paying for items valued at a combined $180.65. He was processed and released.

A 59-year-old Palmyra man was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving and careless driving Aug. 27. He was stopped after a police officer saw that his car had stopped in the center lane on Route 130 with its hazard lights flashing. He allegedly showed signs of impairment and failed a field sobriety test. He was processed and released.

A 60-year-old Piscataway man was charged with theft for allegedly grabbing a hand truck and putting it in his car as he was leaving the Crock-A-Deli on Old Cranbury Road Aug. 19. He was processed and released.
