Hopewell resident questions tactics of Republican candidates for Township Committee

I have seen complaints on a local Facebook page about the Republican candidates for Hopewell Township Committee putting their signs on private property without the owner’s permission. According to the post, they leave a note behind saying “they hope the homeowner doesn’t mind.”

Guess what? The homeowners mind.

What on Earth motivates the Republicans to resort to these tactics? I have never heard of a local candidate sticking their signs in someone’s yard (not in the right of way) without the homeowner’s permission.

They must be desperate and will resort to any tactics to try to get a vote. That’s sad. This Tuesday, I am voting for Mayor Courtney Peters-Manning and Committee Member David
Chait. They are proud Democrats who work for everyone, every day.

And they won’t deliberately stick a sign in the middle of your yard without your permission. They have too much respect for you to do that.
