Red Bank council dedicates park pavilion to late planning board chairman

RED BANK — The members of the Red Bank Borough Council have dedicated the pavilion at East Side Park, Mechanic Street, to resident John Cash, who died in 2017.

Officials said Cash was an advocate for East Side Park and was instrumental in establishing a permanent park building with restroom facilities.

The Red Bank Parks and Recreation Committee recommended that the pavilion be dedicated in Cash’s name. A memorial plaque will be placed at the pavilion.
