A man was observed on surveillance video walking out of the Stop & Shop grocery store without paying for items valued at a combined $1,208.14 March 17.

A Tobyhanna, Pa., man was charged with obstruction for allegedly providing a false name and date of birth following a motor vehicle stop March 17. He was processed and released.

A woman reported the theft of her wallet while she was a patient at Capital Health Medical Center – Hopewell hospital. There was no cash in the wallet, but there were credit cards and identification. The theft was reported March 16.

A Denow Road woman lost $272.70 after taking a fraudulent online survey. The victim provided her banking information in the process, resulting in the loss of money. The incident was reported March 16.

Assorted tools were stolen from a barn at a Benjamin Trail home. Surveillance video showed two suspects enter the barn and make several trips from the barn to their vehicle. The theft was reported March 14.

A Maryland man was charged with possession of fictitious government documents following a motor vehicle stop in Hopewell Borough March 13. He allegedly had a fictitious temporary registration on the vehicle. He was processed and released.

Someone stole $700 from a purse that had been left behind in the cafe at the Capital Health Medical Center – Hopewell hospital March 12. The victim forgot her purse and went back to the hospital to find it. It had been turned over to hospital staff, but when the victim inventoried the purse, she discovered the cash was missing.
